I'm Leandro. I've lived in Florence for over two decades, and I spent most of that time learning this region the way only the local can - not from guidebooks, but from conversation with farmers, winemakers, restaurateurs, and families who've been here for generations. I created Travel and Vibes for travelers who are tired of being tourists. People who want to stop at a roadside vineyard because it looks interesting. Who want to eat where the Florentines eat. Before working in travel experiences, I spent 22 years in Florence in the world of education and pedagogy as a pedagogist (education professional). That background shaped how I work with people: listening first, planning with care, and creating a calm, respectful experience, especially for families and small groups.
I also volunteer with NGOs, which has strengthened my commitment to hospitality, inclusion, and doing things the right way. Alongside Travel and Vibes, I work in Human Resources for an Italian-American company, a role that helps me understand expectations, communication style, and service standards that U.S. travelers value.
